Christ is the only One, Good enough to be, A sacrifice for the whole world; God's Lamb for you and me. When Cain came to the Lord, With his works in hand one day, The Lord just said right out to him, "No, Cain, that's not the way. You must come with the blood, Of the sacrificial lamb, So go and get the sacrifice, And before Me you can stand." When Cain came to the Lord, With the good things he had done, He wanted God to say, "I'm pleased, So pleased with you, My son." But then God said, "No, no, That's not the way, you see; You must come through the sacrifice, Then so pleased I will be."=20 So Cain, he went away, So mad at God was he. "I've worked my fingers to the bone, Yet Him I cannot please!" But, oh, God's heart was sad,=20 When Cain went off so mad. If Cain had yielded to God's will, It would have made God glad. Cain had another chance, To get the lamb, you see; To gain acceptance through the blood, And take God's favor free. But Cain chose not to do, What God said must be done. He chose, instead, to go away, And a fugitive become. The thinking of the world Is just like Cain's today. They want to come unto the Lord, But do it their own way. They say, "It is disgusting, A sacrifice of blood! Oh, let me earn my way, Lord; Let me deserve Your love." The way of Cain, it causes pain, So hard for you, you'll see. The easy way is through the Lamb, God's Lamb for you and me. But no acceptance there can be, If your way you do come. When you = come to God,=20
You must = come through His=20 Son,
