If your poor soul is tired out, Here=92s what I would suggest: That you come unto Jesus, The One who loves your soul; Take on His yoke and learn of Him, And then you=92ll be made whole. *** We think it is the body That needs to get away, To take time off, away from work, To rest, relax and play; But though that is important, There is a deeper need: It=92s a vacation for the soul; Advice we all should heed. *** If your soul needs restoring, It needs to just lie down. In pastures green, by waters still, Is where it should be found. Your soul, it needs a Shepherd To meet all of its needs; A Shepherd you can follow round, And go where e=92er He leads. *** Salvation is the first need, Which brings the soul to rest. You come to Jesus to get that; Just make this your request: "Please come into my life, Lord; I know You died for me, To lift sin=92s burdens off my soul, And set my dear soul free." *** You can=92t be on vacation, (The one that=92s for the soul), Until you come to rest in Christ By giving up control; Control of your salvation And of your righteousness.
