And only when you let God be Lord of all your days, Will you be free from rushing and all those stressful ways. *** Is nervousness a problem in your life every day? I really know what that's like for I can be that way. "Why is it I'm so nervous?" I asked God long ago. "Because you have a need to control things, don't you know?" *** "Control of what things?" I asked, "I want to know, show me, So I can be free from this, oh, Lord, help me to see." God said, "I've made you righteous but you've been trying to Maintain that righteous standing by good things that you do." *** "Be willing to give over control of that to Me, For I have MADE you righteous for ALL eternity. You are a new creation, old things are passed away. Your righteousness before Me, I'll maintain every day." *** So nervousness and rushing all come from the same place. This need to be controlling plagues the adamic race. But only in Christ Jesus is each of us set free From this controlling nature for all eternity. *** Live in your new creation where everything is done. Yes, everything's done for you by Jesus Christ, God's Son. The new you's not controlling, the old man's dead, you know. If you have come to Jesus, then this is really so. *** To slow down won't be easy, for you it'll be a task. But if you really choose to, go to the Lord and ask.
