Sit with the Lord and be still now, it really is a choice. *** The word says, if you will listen to God, you'll safely dwell, And free from fear of evil you'll also be as well. But how can anyone listen while running to and fro? Sit with the Lord and be still now and make your pace of life slow. *** You need to see that you're running away from God, it's true. You always need to keep busy so God's voice won't get through. You're just afraid He will tell you all that you're doing wrong. Sit with the Lord and be still now, He'll say, "For you I do long." *** God speaks to us when we're quiet, His voice is still and small. But when we're always so busy, His voice can't get through at all. God's children get very busy, serving the Lord, it's true, That sitting and being silent is something they do not do. *** Don't be afraid to be silent before the Lord each day, So He can tell you He loves you and that He'll with you stay.
