"Oh, I want peace for my mind," Many Christians say. In Isaiah twenty-six, God gives us the way. *** "If you get to know your God," Says Job twenty-two, "You will be at peace inside; Peace will come to you." Knowledge of what God is like Will bring with it peace. Knowing God's made peace with you, Gives peace that won't cease. *** Peace in every circumstance, Whether good or bad; Peace that you can't understand, Best kind you have had. Jesus said, "My peace I give, I give unto you. Not the kind the world gives but, Best you ever knew." *** Jesus made peace at the cross, There at Calvary. It's a gift that we receive, Given to us free. God was in Christ on that cross, Reconciling ALL; All the world unto Himself, Redeemed from the fall. *** If Christ lives within your heart, You have come into Such a peaceful kingdom where God's at peace with you. Just imagine living there Every night and day, Where the Ruler, Prince of Peace, Never goes away! *** Right down here in this old world, God's kingdom has come Into ALL believers' hearts, Not just into some. His kingdom is righteousness, And it's joy and PEACE. Yes, I'll say it once again: Perfect peace won't cease! *** Peace is like a river, too, So the Scriptures say. Dive in and just swim along; Let God have His way. Let peace flood over your soul; No more war inside. Prince of Peace, Lord Jesus Christ,
It is really true:
Minds are kept in perfect peace,
If they’re stayed on You.
