They never were lonely in God's paradise; It started when they took the devil's advice. They chose to take over control of their lives, And that way of life is where loneliness thrives. *** The loneliness problem is only just one Of so many problems that then were begun; And all these years later it still is around, As all down through history so many have found. Though it is just one of the problems there are, For some it outranks all the others by far. It can eat away at us inside our heart, And so many want it to from them depart. *** This loneliness feeling that some have inside, Is one reason some might commit suicide. They feel, oh, so hopeless, abandoned, alone; Their feelings, to others, are just so unknown. This loneliness feeling just leads to despair; They feel they're alone, that there's no one to care. Oh, what is the answer, where can it be found, To give people hope so that they'll stay around? *** To leave God and be in control is the sin That made this old loneliness problem begin. We need to come back to our God and just say, "I'm sorry I left, that I went my own way." If you will invite Him to in your heart live, To you a new life He will then surely give. Then He will be so glad that you have come home, And now you will never go through life alone. *** The sins we've committed were all laid on Christ; God's Son took our punishment, He paid the price. And that's why God says you're forgiven, it's true; And that's why He can come and live within you. You'll not be alone, God will be your best Friend; A friendship that lasts, one that will never end. And when your last day on this earth comes around, You'll then go to heaven, that's where you'll be found. *** You'll never, no never, be lonely again, When you know God's presence in your life won't end. No more feeling lonely when you're in a crowd. Your Heavenly Father, of you, will be proud, For you have received Him, He lives inside you; Wherever you are your God will be there, too. You'll not be abandoned, He never will leave; He'll always be there and to you He will cleave. *** "In this world you'll have tribulation," Christ said; This scripture is one in the Bible I read. But be of good cheer for He has overcome, Though there will be problems, there'll always be some. But what you go through you won't go through alone, If you've put your trust in Christ who did atone For sins on the cross, yes, He did it, it's true; So loneliness won't be a problem for you. *** Oh, never, no never, no never alone; And all because Jesus for sins did atone. The loneliness problem our Lord will erase; That problem is one we need no longer face. Believe that God loves you and with you will stay; For He will not leave you, He'll not go away.
