Thomas cried, for he could really see That Jesus was alive and well for all eternity. *** So sad was Thomas when he saw His dear Lord crucified. He'd watched men nail Him to a cross, He knew that Christ had died. But when he heard that his dear Lord had risen from the dead, He just would not believe it-Thomas doubted it instead. *** He said, "I won't believe it, no, I won't believe it's true, Unless I touch His wounded side and feel those nail prints, too. Then eight days later Christ appeared to Thomas and did say: "Behold My hands and touch My side, believe it's true this day." *** Then he believed for he could see that it was really true; Yes, he believed because he saw, which took no faith to do. Then Christ said, "You are blessed if you believe though you don't see. Just walk by faith, not by your sight, for that's what pleases Me." *** So now this doubting Thomas was not doubting anymore: "My Lord and my God!" he exclaimed-Christ was alive for sure! Forgiveness for all of his sins, Christ's death, it did obtain; And Resurrection Life was his because Christ rose again! *** You can believe that Jesus died and took away your sin. And then, because He rose again, His Life will be within; Within you, yes, the Life of Christ, His Spirit inside you. Because of Resurrection Day you have been made brand new. *** "My Lord and my God!" is the cry that says, "Christ is alive!" With His Life in you, you can rest, you need no longer strive. He wants to handle your life now and live and walk in you. He wants to be your Lord and God in all you say and do. *** Like Thomas, when he said those five words:"My Lord and my God!" You'll say them, too, when inside you His presence you applaud.
