To know that's so important When a trial you're going through. "Floods" cannot drown the love of God; I hope you know that's so. And if you're in a trial right now, This love you need to know. * To know you're loved by God right now Is what will bring you through A hard time that surrounds your life, That's overwhelming you. God's love is armor, oh, so thick. It's insulation strong Against the "flood," the "waters," too; Protection all day long. * When trials attack you Satan comes To whisper his great lie: "If God is love why did He let This happen to you-why?!" To trust that Jesus loves you dearly During life's alarms, Is so important and to know You're sheltered in His arms. * To see the love God has for you, You really need to look Upon the cross the Savior bore, And see just what it took To make peace between God and you; No greater love was shown. He bore your sins, your punishment, So you could be His own. * What more could your God do to show The love He has for you? If that does not convince you That He loves you, then it's true, That you will never be convinced; For what more could be done To show His love for all of us By offering up His Son? * So never doubt the Father's love, When hard times come your way. Oh, walk by faith and just believe God's love is there to stay. Your feelings might say, "That's a lie!" But know that is not true. No matter what your problem is, God's love will bring you through. * A trial you're in might look real bad, But look again-above!
