HOW TO WALK IN THSPIRIT=20
HOW TO WALK IN THE SPIRIT

 By "Rebekah" the Bride=20

(Rom.6:6,11,14; 7:18-25; 8:1-14; Gal.2:20; 3:1-3; 5:16-25;=20
Col.1:27; 3:3; 2 Cor.5:17,21; 6:16; 1 Cor.15:3,4; Isa.61:10)

***
To walk in the Spirit is something that Christians should really find =
out how to do.
To walk in the Spirit is really so easy and restful! oh, yes, it is =
true.
Though it is so easy so few seem to find it, this walk that the Bible =
tells of;
And that's such a sad thing, to miss out on walking this spiritual way =
that you'd love.
***
If Christ lives in your heart then you're IN the Spirit and Christ's =
Spirit is INside you.
(If you've not the Spirit of Christ on the inside you're just not a =
Christian, it's true.)
Just those who have Jesus, His Spirit within them, can walk in the =
Spirit each day.
To "walk" means "to live," yes, it means how we live life, and life in =
the Spirit's God's way.
***
There're two ways of walking if you are a Christian and one of them is =
the wrong way.
To walk in the flesh or to walk in the Spirit, the last one's the one =
that's okay.
And so it's important to have understanding, to walk in the flesh, =
what's it mean?
Or walk in the Spirit, these ways are so different--the difference =
should clearly be seen.
***
Saint Paul walked in both ways, the flesh and the Spirit, so let's learn =
a lesson from Paul.
At first, in the flesh, oh, he had such a struggle--things just didn't =
go well at all.
He tried, oh, so hard to make his "adam" nature perform in the way that =
it should;
But he found he couldn't, that nature just wouldn't behave in a way that =
was good.
***
He saw that, in grace, he was really not walking, but that he was under =
the law.
He'd walked in the old man instead of the new man which caused him to =
see each weak flaw.
To walk in the flesh is to do the above things--they're all really one =
and the same.
Paul saw his deliverance from this way of living was IN Christ--oh, =
praise Jesus' name!
***
We walk in the flesh when we walk in that old man, the old you that's =
been crucified.
When Paul came to Jesus, right from the beginning, he knew that the old =
Paul had died;
But yet he still struggled to make this old dead man behave just the way =
that he should.
He learned that to walk in the flesh was frustrating but soon dear Saint =
Paul understood.
***
Paul saw that his struggle to live as a Christian was fruitless--and so =
it should be.
God doesn't expect us to live life in our strength, He lives in and =
through you and me.
That's if we will let Him and give up our struggles to be in control in =
this way.
We cannot change "adam," we just cannot do it, we just cannot make him =
obey!
***
To walk in the flesh puts your eyes upon yourself, your weaknesses then =
you will see.
To walk in the Spirit you focus on Jesus and His Life within you--you're =
free!
You base your relationship with your dear Savior, not on the way you =
have behaved;
But base it on Jesus and what He did for you when He on the cross your =
soul saved.
***
The thing that's unchanging, we know, as a Christian, is that Jesus died =
for our sin.
He was resurrected, now we do have His Life inside us, yes, living =
within.
We must base our lives on this truth so unchanging, to walk in the =
Spirit each day.
Just focus on these things, not on our behavior and walk in a spiritual =
way.
***
On days when you do well, do you think, "I'm righteous, yes, righteous =
in my Father's sight"?
On days when your weaknesses show, do you then think, "Today, with my =
God, I'm not right"?
Then that's how you walk in the flesh not the Spirit and that's when =
you, by faith, should say:
"I'm right with my God because Christ died in my place"--we walk in the =
Spirit this way.
***
Christ Jesus did everything that needs to be done to save us and keep us =
that way.
Because of the cross we are righteous in God's sight and kept righteous =
day after day.
If we walk through each day on this firm foundation we'll walk in the =
Spirit for sure.
To walk in the flesh is to walk not believing this truth--then our walk =
will be poor.
***
You walk in the flesh when you base your relationship with God on things =
that YOU do;
And then if you fail you will feel condemnation--not from your dear Lord =
but from you.
Oh, don't you see now how much easier it is to walk in the Spirit--God's =
way?
There's no condemnation in that way of living, just rest for your soul =
every day!
