It's in the heart of everyone who lets Him enter in. He comes to live in those who will and cleanses them from sin *** And there He lives inside of them, His Temple they become; His dwelling place upon the earth where He and they are one. He's always with them every day and everywhere they go. He has an endless love for them in which He hopes they'll grow. *** But there's a problem that I see with some who've let Him in. Although He lives inside their heart they just don't seek for Him. The Lord, He dwells inside of them but yet when needs arise, It's not the Lord inside their soul on whom they put their eyes. *** They look for love outside themselves when God's love dwells within. They try to fill that special need which could be filled by Him. And all the time their Lord inside wants them to turn His way, For only He can fill that need inside of them today. *** Some look for guidance from the world when trouble comes their way, When all the time God's wisdom dwells inside of them each day. If they would only look within the answer would be found, From the Dear One who really has the best advice around. *** Some feel they need to go somewhere and find a special place, Where God will come and bless their soul and give them special grace. When all the time their Lord inside must feel neglected so, For if they asked Him there at home His love for them would flow. *** It seems that some do not believe that they can hear God speak; Although He longs to talk to them their faith to hear is weak. If they would only quiet down and listen as they're still, They'd hear His voice inside their heart and that would be a thrill. *** Some seek for God within a church, that's where they think He's found; But God, He dwells in Christians' hearts, not buildings on the ground. And all believers on the earth are living stones that make A temple where our God does dwell, one that He'll not forsake. *** So, Christian, if you're one of those that I am speaking to, Just make a choice to seek the One who lives inside of you. Just make a choice to seek the One who lives inside = of=20 you.
