This lie that so many believe in, it comes from their arch enemy; so that when our Father draws near them, from Him they all quickly will = flee. *** Our enemy whispers, "You can't trust your Father, you know that is true; for if you dare to draw near Him, a hard thing He'll want you to do. He'll lay heavy burdens upon you and cares that will fill you with = strife; so don't draw too near to the Father, He'll give you a miserable life." *** The enemy, he has a weapon he'll use on you all of your life, to spread lies and rumors about God that fill you with fear and with = strife. This weapon he uses against you is made up of lies, don't you know? And these lies are expertly fashioned so you as a Christian won't grow. *** "Oh, don't get too close to the Father," the enemy whispers, "It's true, your life then really will get hard and trouble will flood in on you." He says that your Father is watching in case you should do some wrong = thing; so then God can go into action and on you some punishment bring. *** Oh, our enemy's such a liar, the father of liars, he's named; and only the truth brings us freedom, a freedom that needs to be = claimed. A weapon of warfare that's mighty, from strongholds it does set us free; and casts down our wrong kind of thinking so our God's true nature we'll = see. *** So what is the truth that will free us and clear our dear Father's good = name? The truth that will bring us to freedom, this freedom that Christians = should claim? Well, first, it is needful to focus upon our great Father's dear Son. God laid all our sins upon Jesus, so punishment can't on us come. *** Now, when you do look upon Jesus, I hope that to you it is clear, that if you're a born again Christian, God's punishment you need not = fear. When God looks at you, He sees Jesus and He's not observing your sin; so plant your feet firmly in this truth and victory o'er Satan you'll = win. *** God doesn't give us heavy burdens or crosses that will weigh us down. His love, joy and peace are the "burdens" He wants us to carry around. And if you do that, you will find out that God's not the way He might = seem; then you'll never fear to draw near Him and on His dear presence to = lean. *** The greatest of lies, it is this one: Acceptance by God must be earned; that by good behavior we get love--as children, it's what we have = learned. But how great it is to discover that it's just the opposite that's true: Acceptance and love from the Father, His Son Christ has earned it FOR = you. *** This image of God that's created by Satan, an image untrue, will just have to crumble and fall down when truth is revealed unto you. A truth that the Father is loving and with Him it's easy to be. It's truth that will cause His dear children to grow and to really be = free. *** The truth of God's nature's been hidden from people for too long a = spell. And this is the time for revealing the truth, it is now time to tell that Satan has told us a great lie about our dear Heavenly Dad; and as God's truth dawns in upon us, our Father's dear heart will be = glad. *** This darkness that covers the thinking of God's precious children must = go. Too long Satan's kept them in darkness while they've walked this life = here below.
