GOD'S SHEEP

By "Rebekah" the Bride

(Jn.10:7,14,15,27-29; Jn.1:12; 3:3; 6:37-39,44; 14:6; Isa.53:6; =
Matt.4:19; 26:28;=20
Lu.15:3-6; Rom.5:15; 8:35-39; 10:13; 2 Cor.5:17; Eph.1:13)=20

"No one can pluck you from My hand," says Jesus to His sheep.
"You can't be snatched from Father's hand, His own He'll always keep."
When Jesus called, "Come, follow Me," His sheep, they heard His voice.
They came and they were born again for Jesus was their choice.

"You cannot come to Me without the Father drawing you,"
Said Jesus, and if you have come you're a creation new.
Sealed by God's Spirit, you've become a child of God for sure.
You've come to God through Jesus Christ, entering through the Door.

Close to the Shepherd some sheep stay, some follow from afar.
Some get in trouble, go astray, yet still God's sheep they are.
The Good Shepherd goes out to find His sheep who go astray,
And there's rejoicing in the fold when one returns to stay.

Christ knows His sheep and they know Him, in John ten that is clear.
"They'll never perish," scripture says, God's sheep need never fear.
When they know that, they feel secure, with peace their hearts will =
fill.
Christ says, "They'll never perish," and that means they never will!

"All those the Father gives to Me shall come to Me," Christ said;
"And those that come I'll not cast out," are scriptures I have read.
He will not lose them but He'll give all that on Him believe,
Eternal Life-He surely will-each one He will receive.

All we like sheep have gone astray, the Good Shepherd we need.
He laid His life down for the sheep, for our sins He did bleed.
He bled, He died, He rose again and He's the only One
Who is the Door, the Way to God-He's Jesus Christ, God's Son.

So if you've come to God through Christ you've entered through the Door.
You are His sheep, you'll always be, of that you can be sure.
You'll NEVER perish and you'll NEVER be snatched from His hand.
You know Him and you're known by Him-on these truths firmly stand.
