"Oh, are you enjoying your union with Me?"
Thus saith our dear Lord to His Bride constantly;
For He is her Husband and she is His wife,
And He is so glad she is part of His life.

That union that you have with Christ as your Lord
Is real and He hopes that it won’t be ignored.
Your spirit’s been wedded to His, don’t you know?
And He will be with you wherever you go.

He lives in your heart where He always will be.
Now you can enjoy Him inside secretly.
And when trouble comes, if you’re dwelling in there,
Then you will be sheltered in His tender care.

Your Lord is close to you and that’s where He’ll stay.
The strength of your life He will be every day.
Whatever you go through, though trials you might bear,
Just know that your union with Him will be there.

Just draw near to Jesus for that is the key
To being fed by Him, yes, fed spiritually;
And He’s Living Water, He will quench your thirst,
When your precious union with Him is put first.

He is thinking of you each day constantly,
So thinking of Him is important, you see.
His thoughts He has toward you, they’re peaceful ones, too;
But not thoughts of evil, oh, that He won’t do.

He says, "Come, enjoy that sweet union with Me."
You are so secure in that union, you see.
There’s no separation between you, for sure;
And yours is a union that He’ll make endure.

Enjoying your union with Jesus, you know,
Is really the way as a Christian you grow.
Your life will bear fruit, yes, it surely is true,
If you keep Him first in your thoughts—oh, please do.

But are you enjoying that union today?
His union with you that will not go away?
That’s why you were made, to enjoy Him, you see;
Both here on this earth and through eternity.
