The word says, "In God’s presence
Your heart with joy will fill.
At God’s right hand are pleasures,
Ones that are in His will."
And you are in God’s presence,
If He lives in your heart;
But if you’ve not enjoyed Him,
Now is the time to start.
***
To know you’re in God’s presence,
Both now and evermore,
This great and joyous blessing
Will cause your soul to soar.
This joy His presence gives you,
It is your strength in life;
This life that’s sometimes filled with
Calamity and strife.
***
We only have the right to
In God’s dear presence be,
Because our sins were laid on
God’s Son, oh, don’t you see?
A Christian’s sins are all gone,
God’s presence has come in,
To make a home in their heart;
So let the joy begin!
***
Some Christians, they run from God,
His punishment they fear;
And that’s the reason why they
Don’t to the Lord draw near.
They need to be assured that
All’s well within their soul;
That what Christ did at Calvary
Has really made them whole.
***
God wants us to enjoy Him,
His presence on this earth;
That’s why He made us and why
He gives the second birth.
So do not fear God’s judgment;
Believe Christ took it all.
And to God’s presence draw near,
As on His name you call.
***
There is no fear in God’s love,
In perfect love, you see.
Yes, only His love’s perfect,
For He loves perfectly.
Just think, God’s love so perfect,
It lives and dwells in you.
His perfect love, His presence,
Casts all fear out, it’s true.
***
Since you’re loved perfectly now,
You never need to fear
God’s presence here on this earth,
No fear in drawing near.
All judgment, wrath is long gone,
Replaced by love, you see.
Enjoy God’s presence always;
No longer from Him flee.
***
Because God’s made peace with you,
Don’t from His presence flee.
His peace, it rests upon you,
Because of Calvary.
His peaceful presence will fill
Your soul with great delight.
Enjoy peace in His presence,
Enjoy it day and night.
***
The cross has made peace for you,
Forgiveness for your sin;
And makes you righteous also,
Christ’s righteousness within.
God’s presence will give you joy,
As you dwell there each day.
"My undefiled, I love you,"
Is what you’ll hear Him say.
***
The presence of your dear Lord
Will bring great joy to you;
So dwell there every moment,
No matter what you do.
To miss out on this great joy,
You really can’t afford;
Enjoy it every day now,
The presence of the Lord.
