CREATED FOR
LOVE
By "Rebekah" the Bride
(1 Jn.3:1; 4:19; 1 Cor.2:14; Deut.4:29;
Matt.1:23)
God created people so He’d have someone to love.
He hoped, in turn, they’d love Him back with His love from
above.
The Bible says we love Him because He first loved us.
His love, it is so wonderful, a love that we can trust.
So many ask these questions: "Who am I? Why’m I here?"
But yet it seems the answer does not to them appear.
Because the answer’s simple, it’s really hard to find.
That God just wants to love them, makes no sense to their
mind.
And therein lies the problem, because we try to find
The answers to life’s questions by using just our mind.
The Bible says that with the mind we cannot understand
The things of God, they make no sense to the natural
man.
If you would find life’s answers, there is a place to
start.
Just lay your natural mind aside and seek God with your
heart.
Then you will find the answer to what you seek, you
know.
That God just wants to love you, you’ll find it’s really
so.
To think the only reason you’re on the earth today,
Is just to let God love you in His most special way.
It really mystifies us, our minds don’t understand,
That loving us is really the thing that is God’s plan.
God’s tried so hard to show us that He just wants to
love,
By dwelling here among us and leaving Home above.
Emmanuel, God with us, is Jesus’ name, you see.
He showed God’s love by dying on a cross for you and me.
It’s hard for us to understand a love like God’s, you
see,
For it has no conditions, it’s offered to us free.
But how can He bestow it on each one of us,
If we are so unwilling to in His love just trust?
But some are really willing to fit in with God’s plan,
To lay aside their natural minds which cannot
understand;
And with the heart say, "Yes, God, my Lover You can be;
For I was just created to let Your love fill
me."
