COMFORTABLE WITH GOD

61:1,2; Hos. 2:14)
When you are
with someone you love, with one who loves you, too,
You'll probably be comfortable as
that one is with you.
If you've responded to the love the
Savior has for you,
Then you can feel so comfortable
with Him, it's really true.
*
Since Christ took all your sins away when on the cross He died,
And you've repented and believed
and now He lives inside,
Within your heart is where He'll
stay, forever, faithfully.
How comforting it is to know with
you He'll always be.
*
God wants you to feel
comfortable with Him now every day;
But Satan is your enemy who wants
to take away
This comfort that's available while
on this earth you live.
He'll try to keep you blinded to
this comfort God can give.
*
If you live closely with
someone who is at peace with you,
It's comfortable to be around this
peaceful one, it's true.
The Prince of Peace lives in your
heart so you can really know
His peace, and you'll be
comfortable as you walk here below.
*
Don't you just love to be accepted
unconditionally
By friends and family you are
with?--what comfort that can be.
How much more comforting it is to
know the same is true
Of God who's with you every day,
who lives inside of you.
*
How comforted believers are who've
really come to see
Themselves the way their Father
does:He sees us all sin-free!
He sees the righteousness of Christ
that He's applied to us.
We'll feel so comfortable with Him
when in this fact we trust.
*
It's nice to have a
Comforter to live inside of you.
A God of comfort is your Lord in
trials that you go through.
There is no one who understands
like Jesus, oh, it's so.
The Lord is the best Comforter of
anyone I know.
*
God is so very comfortable to be with
day and night.
He is so easy to live with--I hope
you see that's right.
He is a God with whom we can
forever feel at home.
His Presence is so comfortable no
matter where we roam.
*
Oh, Christian, are you
comfortable in God's presence today?
If not, it, maybe, means that you
are walking your own way.
God's way, it is a way of faith
that just believes it's true
That all is well with your dear
soul because Christ died for you.
*
Oh, comfort,
comfort, comfort me, dear Lord, when trials come round;
And also make me comfortable when
blessings do abound.
If times are good, if times are
bad, in comfort I will be;
And I'll be comfortable with You
throughout eternity.
