The human race is not at peace,

And here’s the reason why:

It is because humanity

Believes the devil’s lie.

The devil is a liar,

He’s the father of all lies.

Believing what the devil says,

Is utterly unwise wise.

The lie began in Eden’s land,

The Paradise of God,

Where Eve believed the devil’s lie,

Not realizing the fraud.

In essence, here is what he said:

"Your God has lied to you,

And, therefore, you cannot trust Him;

What God said is not true."

And that is why humanity

Finds trusting God so hard.

It just does not come natural,

Because we don’t regard

What God says as the honest truth;

His ways just don’t seem right.

But, yet, God’s truth and Satan’s lies

Differ as day and night.

The Bible says, "If you know truth,

Then truth will set you free";

And truth is that YOU CAN TRUST GOD,

Trust Him implicitly.

"God cannot lie," the Bible says;

Do you believe it’s true?

If so, look in His word and see

What truth God says to you.

The word says we’re ALL sinners;

Yet, Christ died for everyone.

Our sins God laid on Jesus Christ.

He punished His own Son

For everything that we’ve done wrong;

Christ Jesus took our place.

He suffered as a substitute

For the whole human race.

God made His peace with the whole world

On Crucifixion Day.

The sin problem was settled then

When Christ for sin did pay.

And now the issue is not sin,

But it’s: Will you believe

The truth of this and come to God,

And peace from Him receive?

It’s hard for this old human race

To trust that God won’t lie,

And scarcely for a righteous man

Would one willingly die;

But think of this: For sinners all,

Christ died so willingly.

Oh, just believe, receive the truth,

And live eternally!

Oh, just believe that God is truth,

That He won’t lie to you.

The devil still says, "Don’t trust God;

What God says is not true."

But God says, "I’ve made peace with you;

Your sins I do not hold against you,

But you must believe

To come into My fold."

The greatest sin of this whole world

Is if we don’t believe

That God has made His peace with us,

And this peace not receive.

There is a heaven and a hell,

And in heaven we’ll be,

If we receive the gift of peace;

And live eternally.
