BE RECONCILED

***
God is not holding sins against us;
that’s good news—it’s true!
The whole world has been reconciled to God;
that’s me, that’s you!
Now, come, be reconciled to Him;
it’s what we need to do.
Oh, please, be reconciled to God;
He’s reconciled to you!
***
God’s reconciled us to Himself
by Jesus Christ, you know.
God gave His only Son for us,
His love to us to show.
Christ paid our debt of sin for us;
the debt we could not pay.
Oh, come, be reconciled to God;
today’s salvation’s day.
***
God is no longer mad at you;
He’s not your enemy.
For He has laid on Jesus Christ
ALL your iniquity.
Past, present, future—all your sins,
the work has all been done
to make you right with God Himself.
Thank Him for His dear Son!
***
The war is over, peace is here;
yet many do not see
that God is saying unto them,
"Be reconciled to Me."
Oh, just believe, receive His love;
 He has forgiven you.
His love is unconditional;
believe it for it’s true.
***
Salvation for the soul’s a gift;
one that you cannot earn.
Christ earned it for you on the cross;
this is a truth to learn.
But it’s a gift you must receive;
don’t turn God’s gift away.
Then you won’t need to fear to face
the Lord on Judgment Day.
***
"Oh, world, I love you, please, believe,
for UNBELIEF is SIN.
Why don’t you put your faith in Christ,
and let My Son come in?"
This is God’s message, it’s His plea,
to the whole human race.
If you do, unbelief will go;
belief will take its place.
***
The ones who sat in darkness
saw great light, the Scriptures say.
That speaks of the Lord Jesus Christ,
who’s still the Light today.
The darkness is the unbelief
that blinds us to what’s true;
the truth that God is reconciled
to you . . . and you . . . and you!
***
Behold the Lamb, His blood’s been shed;
Christ took our sins away.
Forgiveness—peace with God—is now
available today.
Sin’s not the issue anymore,
for Jesus paid the price.
The issue all must face is now:
What will we do with Christ?
