We believe that these Bread of Life messages are a gift from the Lord, and we love to have them served to others in a way that is pleasing to Him. Jesus said to His disciples, "Freely ye have received, freely give" (Matthew 10:8). Other guidelines to follow in serving our Lord's Bread are seen in the account of the feeding of the loaves and fish to the multitude (John 6).

*There was thanksgiving to God (verse 11).

*People were seated for the feast on a high grassy place (verse 10), and that symbolizes being at spiritual rest in the Good Shepherd's pasture, where His sheep are fed "without money and without price" (Isaiah 55:1).

*The supply of food was unlimited, and yet so valuable that even the leftover fragments were gathered so that nothing would be lost (verses 11&12).

*The working of the miracle of supply may have been activated by the willingness to freely share, as the lad with the five barley loaves did (verse 9), and by the willingness to distribute, like the disciples (verse 11).

*And all things were done in the right way and at the right time, because the Lord's voice was heard and His directions were followed.
